Commercial Finance Supervisor (Procurement)
Massillon, OH (Hybrid - onsite T-Th)
The Commercial Finance Supervisor will be part of a dynamic, fast paced team whose objectives are to provide cross-functional support and accurate and timely reporting to support the Company’s continued growth.
Key responsibilities will include oversight of finance procurement analyst while supporting the Procurement function with financial analysis and reporting.
This position reports to the Sr Manager, Commercial Finance.
Your Seat at the Table :
- Provide direct supervision, guidance and professional development to procurement finance analyst, including assigning tasks, delegating responsibilities, and conducting performance reviews
- Oversee the detailed financial planning, reporting, and analysis of both direct and indirect procurement costs trend analysis, variance to plan, budget tracking, and clear communication of drivers, providing in-depth analysis to management
- Perform monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes for procurement costs coordinating with the procurement team to include latest market trends, cost reduction projects, etc.
- Support the procurement team on all direct and indirect spend management and cost savings initiatives
- Lead monthly / quarterly executive meetings to review key findings and insights from completed analysis to include results and updates to projected performance
- Provide financial and analytical support for all material categories including market tracking and reporting to leadership
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects, prioritize work, meet expectations and deadlines in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Lead and develop a best-in-class high performing procurement finance team
What You Bring to the Table :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in financial planning and analysis, or corporate finance
- Experience in analytical, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced Excel skills
