Workday HCM Security Lead - Corporate Full Time and Remote

As the Workday Security Access Leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our Workday system and global design.
This role access design is critical for the right real-time data views, business process flow, AI, and the employee's experience.
You will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and postproduction operating model for enterprise security access controls within the Workday platform as well as play a role on our program office.
Lead the development and implementation of security access strategies and policies for the Workday platform partnering with our system implementor on global design
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and Finance, to gather requirements and ensure the proper allocation of security access rights to system users.
Analyze and evaluate existing security access controls to identify potential vulnerabilities, gaps, or inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Oversee the creation and management of user roles and security groups within the Workday system, ensuring compliance with company policies industry best practices, and system implementor guidance.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to monitor and mitigate any potential security risks or violations.
Stay up to date with the latest product security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements to proactively identify potential security threats and propose appropriate solutions.
Provide guidance and support to end-users regarding security access-related queries or issues.
Collaborate with external vendors and consultants as needed to ensure the effective implementation of security access controls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience working across enterprise platforms and leading core operational support for cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Ability to easily adapt and learn new technology and capabilities
Any knowledge of security concepts, access control frameworks, and security standards is a plus
Any experience conducting security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability testing or supporting key security processes is desired
Strong communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders and influence change needed
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Please note that while specific Workday experience is not required, familiarity or experience with Workday security concepts would be beneficial for this role
Professional certifications such as Workday Pro or Workday Advanced Security certification are highly desirable but not required since training will be provided.
