Homeschool Teacher - Preschool
Do you love children and teaching, but don't want the stress of 25 kids in a classroom? This job is right for you! Qualified applicants would be responsible for teaching 2 children (3 and 5 year old boys) in a private home.
Experience working with and having great rapport with children in this age group is required. The teacher will work individually with 2 boys to complete and exceed appropriate skill levels in all core subjects, and be responsible for facilitating and assisting with choosing a homeschool curriculum.
The teacher will collaborate closely with the parents.
This is a wonderful full-time private teaching position for the right teacher that will be Tuesday-Friday from 9am-12pm.
Teachers should be reliable, patient, creative with a sense of humor, upbeat, activity-based, conscious, intentional, aware, firm when necessary, and good with positive reinforcement.
Teachers should have a passion for developing a student cognitively, emotionally, and socially. Would prefer a teacher who is outdoorsy / earthy, spiritual, and somewhat athletic and who can make learning fun.
Requirements :
At least 2-3 years of elementary school teaching experience (state certification is preferred), must be responsible for and able to facilitate a homeschool program and use existing remote curriculum and materials
Must be willing to collaborate with parents, must have reliable transportation and cell phone,
Must be willing to travel to the home of the students in zip 32224, must be fluent in English, must be willing to interview via live video chat + must pass a background check.

Background : Pass stringent background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
Position Compensation
Pay : $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Qualifications
Must hold and maintain up to date CPR certification and background check.
Preferred : Have received or are working on a higher education in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
Preferred : two plus years of experience working in a classroom setting.
Ability to create a lesson plan from the curriculum provided.
Preferred : experience in teaching in a homeschool setting.
