- Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds.* Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
- Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.* Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.
- Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications / immunizations.
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards.* Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
Qualifications* CPS / BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program or Prevea sponsored program.
Upon Hire RequiredMedical Assistant* Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant.* Certified as a Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.
Licensed Practical Nurse* Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.* Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor.
Emergency Medical Technician* Graduation from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician program.* Licensed EMT or AEMT and maintain this credential throughout employmentIf holds other licenses that supersede CMA / RMA license may practice to the highest level of licensure with the approval of Quality Resources.
Experience Qualifications* Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or previous experience as an Emergency Medical Technician or Advanced Emergency Medical Technician PreferredPrevea is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
