JobDescription :

Step into akey role at the forefront of our business as a Product SourcingManager. This exciting position drives new product development andthe management of existing product lines through their retaillifecycles.

As a Product Sourcing Manager you would be in a highlyvisible role that provides you with the unique opportunity to steerthe entire productcatalog.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Activelysource a variety of products (particular Toys) that ExKaliber cansell profitably on Amazon Walmart and other eCommerce marketplaces.
• Research and analyze online selling activityto determine consumer interests buying trends and to keep abreastof competitor merchandise.
• Drive new productdevelopment overseeing every stage from concept developmentsourcing and retail strategies.
• Spot newmarket opportunities by keeping a finger on the pulse of industrytrends and retail channels by analyzing market research and beingin the know for industry events.
• Collect andassess market competition by utilizing tools and marketing data tocompare the health and evolution of our product catalogs versuscompetitors.
• Keep an eye on the product lifecycles to determine strategic courses to improve existingproducts.
• Help guide the direction of futureproduct lines by evaluating new product ideas using an inhouseprocess to assess sales opportunity profitability and longevity.
• Determine new product pricing through thoroughanalysis of market research data production and sales costsprojected volumes and special or custom ordercosts.
• Assess current product lines andoptimize evolve and / or pivot strategies by analyzing performancemetrics and preparing reports that include addressing customerfeedback quality improvements and financialROI.
• Schedule meetings with Sales ChannelManagers to gather their needs feedback and sales progress assessthe success of each product line on its strategiccourse.
• Forecast profitability for new productsto optimize inventory turnover and productavailability.
• Manage and oversee a smalloffshore support team for sourcing and competitor analysispurposes.

Qualifications :

• MUSTHAVE : 34 years of professional work experience sourcing toys forAmazon marketplace in a highgrowth fastpacedenvironment.
• MUST HAVE : Familiarity with usingbasic Amazon tools such as Keepa Jungle Scout Helium10
• Strong familiarity with Amazons platform andits various features including the ability to navigate and searchfor products on the site.
• MUST HAVE : Understanding of how to track product prices sales ranks and otherdata points over time.
• Knowledge of how to useAmazon tools and filters to analyze data and make informed sourcingand purchasing decisions.
• Ability to interpretand analyze data to make informed decisions about which products topurchase and when.
• Experience using Amazontools to research and evaluate potential products forpurchase.
• Proven to have sourced successfulprofit generating products in the toy category onAmazon
• Advanced Excel expertise including pivottables and bulk sheetcreation / maintenance.
• Expertise in taskmanagement tools and product managementplatforms.
• Outstanding collaborative andcommunicative skills within a matrixedorganization.
• A positive attitude aninquisitive nature and goalorientedmindset.
• Exceptional focus and meticulousattention to detail.
