As an analytical methods development chemist for a process gas chromatograph manufacturer, you will apply yourself to define the analytical hardware and operating conditions required to accomplish complex customer-requested analyses through gas chromatographic methodologies such as parallel chromatography utilizing the Valmet Maxum II process gas chromatograph (PGC).
In this production-based role, you will :
- Work with team engineers to develop production drawings
- Develop new analytical methods consisting of in part :
a. determining appropriate gas chromatographic column combinations
b. optimizing operational parameters (e.g. carrier flows, application temperatures)
- Actively support Quotations through defining PGC solutions at RFQ stage
- Developing new supportive applications such as those required for environmental compliance
- PGC application feasibility studies
- Interface with Production Final Test to quickly troubleshoot chromatographic system anomalies.
- Actively support Quotations through defining PGC solutions at RFQ stage
