Job Title : Lead Fire Alarm Tech
Location : Nashville, TN (Surrounding 2-3 hour radius, company will pay for hotel if out late too far from home)
Pay Rate : $25-35 / hr + OT Eligible when approved / needed, 40 hours a week minimum
Monday- Friday - Night Shift 10pm-6am, OT offered, NO weekends Mostly nights, there are some projects that can be done during the day such as new build projects.

Desired Skills and Experience
At least 2 years of installing / programming / troubleshooting Fire and Security Alarms in large commercial retail stores.

Insight Global's client, a leading IT Infrastructure Security company, is seeking to hire a Lead Alarm Technician to support Nashville, TN.
This technician will be responsible for installing all low-voltage equipment in big box retail stores for customers such as Walmart, Kroger, Home Depot, Target, and many more.
You will be installing and programming Fire alarms, Burglar alarms, Access Control panels, CCTVs, POS systems, and more.
Usually, you will need to work overnight (8pm-6am) when the stores are under operations and cannot have installations go on while they are open for business.
Need to be able to use your own vehicle during the contract (5 months) until you convert to a permanent employee. You will then receive a company vehicle.
While using your own Transportation, you will receive a gas card and a weekly stipend.
Other Duties :
- Lead a group of technicians and perform troubleshooting / installations of Fire and Security alarms as well as CCTVs
- Perform installation and service work on customer site, based on schedule.
- Provide regular updates (email responses / information) to Project Management Team(s), Resource Center and Service Center in a timely manner
- Act as point of escalation for clients; resolve issues where possible, otherwise escalate to Supervisor and Project Team(s)
- Provide complete structured cabling system installations in a variety of retail, financial and office building environments.
- Terminate and test Category 5e and 6 copper cables to manufacturer and BICSI standards
- Terminate and test Multi-mode fiber to manufacturer and BICSI standards
- Install equipment racks, cabinets, and cable support systems, including J-hooks, Arlington straps and ladder tray systems
- Able to participate in project installation and service / MAC activities during nights and weekends
- Installing, configuring, troubleshooting and testing
- DVRs - March Networks, Verint and Dedicated Micros
- Bosch, Panasonic, Axis, and Wren Solutions cameras
- Structured cabling systems for voice and data networks (Category 5e, 6 and fiber)
- Camera and DVR systems, including IP Cameras
- Basic installation and configuration of switches, routers, phones and phone systems, and other network devices
