Summary

To provide exemplary customer service and sales support by fielding / responding to customer inquiries. To build and maintain relationships so that we are the customer's first choice in selecting construction supplies and services, every time.

Travel within assigned territories, calling on customers, maintaining communications while soliciting orders and acquiring feedback from customers

Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for obtained orders

Estimate delivery dates and deliver product personally whenever possible and investigate and resolve customer concerns.

Primary product focus includes sale of the Company's materials, tools and supplies and rental of McQuade Bannigan's equipment.

Promotion of all of the McQuade's products and services by working as a team with managers and other team members as required.

Duties

To maintain and grow an existing customer base, while searching for new customers. To engage contractors at all levels including : owners, project managers, superintendents, and anyone in the field with purchasing authority.

To quote products and services and deliver product personally whenever possible, while also resolving customers problems and concerns.

To maintain a professional growth and development of McQuade and Bannigan's products and services by attending training classes, seminars, and meetings to keep abreast of new products that affect our competitive positions and to support our company's objectives.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED is required.

Associate's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.

One to three years sales / marketing experience.

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Driver's license.

Regular travel to customer or job site locations.

Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
