HAYS are recruiting on behalf of an established M&E contractor with a strong reputation in the industry. They are actively looking for a Mechanical Contracts manager to lead a high-end residential project in Andover.Responsibilities :
Labour Management :
Oversee and coordinate the mechanical workforce on-site, ensuring efficient utilisation of resources.
Procurement :
Manage the procurement process for mechanical materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Project Coordination :
Collaborate closely with other project stakeholders, including site managers, engineers, and architects, to ensure seamless project execution.
Financial Variations :
Work closely with the Quantity Surveyor (QS) to track and manage financial variations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and services.
- Excellentmunication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism and attention to detail.
