Job Title : Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager

Location : San Diego, CA

About the Position : We're on the lookout for a Commercial HVAC and Plumbing Project Manager with a solid foundation in project management and a passion for excellence to strengthen our team in San Diego, CA.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional, boasting at least 5 years of experience in managing commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, combined with a thorough knowledge of Bluebeam and Excel.

A degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is highly regarded, especially if accompanied by proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) Project Management and Bluebeam software.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial HVAC and plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed within the set parameters for time, cost, and quality.
  • Craft comprehensive project plans, delineating budgets, schedules, and the allocation of resources.
  • Maintain open lines of communication, keeping all project participants and stakeholders informed about progress and expectations.
  • Analyze project documents, such as blueprints and specifications, utilizing Bluebeam to ensure precise interpretation.
  • Employ advanced OST Project Management and Bluebeam software tools to enhance project efficiency and precision.
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors, guaranteeing the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with project timelines and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Uphold strict adherence to local and federal regulations, safety protocols, and organizational standards.
  • Address project challenges swiftly and efficiently, ensuring resolutions that align with project goals.
  • Compile and present detailed project reports to upper management, highlighting progress, issues, and achievements.

Qualifications :

  • Must be local to San Diego, CA, or willing to relocate.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam software.
  • Familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff (OST) Project Management software is advantageous.
  • Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
  • Demonstrated history of successful project management.
