Sodexo Healthcare is seeking a Part-Time (24 hours week) inpatient Registered Dietitian to join its team of clinicians at Riverside Community Hospital.

This 478 level one trauma center is an Inland Empire leader in providing advanced, comprehensive health care to the Inland region.

The successful candidate will :

• provide nutritional care for inpatient units, primarily general medicine and telemetry OR surgical ICU;
• work every 4th weekend providing hospital wide coverage;
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays;

educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses; and

precept dietetic interns.

Qualifications & Requirements :

Basic Education Requirement :

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1 / 1 / 24 :

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement :

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD / RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.

In some states and / or facilities the RD / RDN credentials is required at the time of hire

Certification / licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and / or facilities state certification / licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
