Experienced MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Paso Robles Winery is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic .
Hours are M-Sun 8am-10pm
The Maintenance Mechanic performs mechanical / electrical / pneumatic / hydraulic / building maintenance for the organization.
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on winery equipment, including crushers, presses, pumps, conveyors, bottling lines, refrigeration units, and other machinery.
- Maintain and repair electrical components of winery equipment, including motors, control panels, sensors, and wiring.
- Create maintenance schedules, conduct routine inspections, and carry out scheduled maintenance tasks as required.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies necessary for repairs, welding, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, cellar, and quality control, to optimize workflow and address mechanical and electrical issues.
- All other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, welding, or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanic with expertise in electrical systems and welding, preferably in a winery, food processing, or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and proficiency in welding techniques.
- Knowledge of winery equipment and machinery, including crushers, presses, pumps, and bottling lines.
- Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in reading equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical team members.
