Job Summary :
This role will lead security project delivery and combine technology, advisory, client insights, to drive overall business value and security adoption.
The Manager, Information Security Advisor will be responsible for the delivery of strategic security consulting services to our clients while maintaining strong relationships with multiple business units at all levels within the organization.
The individual in this role must demonstrate the ability to lead infrastructure security engagements leveraging cloud or premise-based technologies.
Job Duties :
- Develops Information Security programs for BDO clients
- Evaluates and develops Information Security policies for clients
- Builds, develops and drives to completion Information Security roadmaps
- Manages and maintains strong relationships with clients and internally at all levels
- Leads and executes on a variety of risk assessment and gap analysis engagements
- Identifies opportunities to help customers reach their business goals and communicates effectively across company teams to bring those goals to fruition
- Provides oversight and regular reporting to Managed Security Services customer deliveries
- Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities :
- Manages Cybersecurity advisory and delivery team
- Manages professional development of the Cyber team
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Education :
- High School Diploma or GED, required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, within Business, Information Technology or another related field, preferred
Experience :
- Five (5) or more years in IT / Information Security with skills / responsibility growth progression, required
- Three (3) or more years of experience with Security / IT Audit / Assessment processes, required
- Two (2) or more years of experience with executing compliance gap analysis and driving compliance remediation activities, required
- One (1) or more years of experience with Cybersecurity frameworks, required
- Three (3) or more years of experience with securing cloud environments within Office 365, Azure, AWS, preferred
- Four (4) or more years of experience with Security / IT Policy and Program development, preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Security tools and capabilities, preferred
- Experience in ISACA, preferred
- Knowledge of security technologies and processes involved in the following, preferred : Identity and Access Management (Focus Microsoft) Endpoint Protection, Detection, and Response Systems hardening leveraging industry frameworks Network security Email security Security Operations
Licenses / Certifications :
One (1) or more Cybersecurity certification(s) : CISA, CISM, CISSP, CeH, preferred
Software :
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, required
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong facilitation and collaboration skills
- Self-driven, strong attention to detail, and excels operating in a fast-paced technical environment
- Ability to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues
- Ability to local travel to the client site, as needed
