Learn more at hexagon.com and follow us @HexagonAB.Purpose of Position : Reporting to the Head of Global Support, the Business Improvement Specialist is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and improving organizational processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.

This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization, working closely with cross-functional teams supporting, coaching, building excitement, removing roadblocks, and driving discipline for improvement efforts.

Major Areas of Responsibility :

  • Conduct in-depth assessments of existing product lifecycles and processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for enhancement.
  • Develop and deploy comprehensive product lifecycle workflows, process maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) tailored to each product.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to embed change management activities into project plans, quantifying the business process efficiencies achieved.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify underlying issues and recommend strategic solutions.
  • Support the global team in documenting and disseminating pertinent information throughout the organization.
  • Establish metrics to effectively monitor and enhance global product lifecycle, processes, and deployments.
  • Tracking, analyzing and continuous improvement of field quality data (RMA) for both hardware and software products while working with our engineering teams to identify and drive proactive product quality and robustness improvement initiatives.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives targeting product lifecycle, RMA and processes.
  • Collaborate with departmental managers to identify and prioritize process enhancement opportunities.
  • Stay up to date of industry trends and best practices to identify novel process improvement opportunities.Knowledge and Experience - Required :
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with a focus in auditing or business analysts, information systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of combined experience in business improvement and change management preferably in a manufacturing or mining industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively influence diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in English verbal and spoken.Knowledge and Experience - Desired :
  • Certification / qualifications in LEAN, Six Sigma, or similar.
  • Multi-lingual would be an advantage (Spanish / Portuguese / Bahasa / French (helpful)).
  • Improvement, Project Management & Change Management experience is desired.Travel :
