SUMMARY :
Under general supervision, the Reverse Logistics Analyst works with supplier partners and cross-functional teams to return, rebalance, and remove excess inventory across our supply chain.
This role overcomes obstacles and builds relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally. The Reverse Logistics Analyst identifies hidden opportunities within data for continuous process improvement.
JOB DUTIES
- Analyzes ways to maintain supply-chain efficiency and minimize cost for inventory returns, rebalancing, and disposition efforts.
- Seeks continuous improvement for existing and future reverse logistics processes.
- Develops and maintains accurate monthly reporting for leadership.
- Performs excess inventory analysis.
- Builds and maintains record of reverse logistics procedures.
- Works on special inventory related projects as needed.
- Coordinates with IT departments and serves as a QA agent for reverse logistics programs.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams as needed (Inventory Control, DC, Purchasing, Accounting, etc.).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Works with supplier partners to fulfill and return disposition agreements.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Three (3) or more years of industrial distribution experience is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, MS Power Bi, etc. a plus.
- Ability to interpret data into information and create intuitive reports.
- Great organizational and follow-up skills.
- Capable of working independently.
- Strong written and verbal skills. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
