Staff Accountant

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities :

This includes but is not limited to :

• Manage daily activity and monthly reconciliation of 15 bank accounts
• Timely monthly general ledger closing, including posting of journal entries and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Prepare workpapers and other documents to support internal and external audits
• File monthly and quarterly Sales Tax reports
• Prepare Census Reports
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely posting of cash transactions
• Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications :

• 1-2 years of experience
• Previous experience with general ledger activity
• Demonstrate strong understanding of process flows
• Must be proficient in Excel
• CPA a Plus

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Salary range $63,000.00-$68,000.00 per annum
