POLYMAR has been located in Lancaster County, PA for over 45 years. We are part of a privately-owned business molding thermoplastic parts for automotive, consumer products, fluid handling and medical industries.
Our team in Leola helps ensure that we deliver exceptional service to our customers.
We offer a small, friendly shop environment focused on safety, quality, delivery and good cost controls. We are looking for an individual with a quality inspector background.
He / she must be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills along with a strong, reliable work ethic. The facility runs 24 hours per day, 5 days per week with occasional overtime on Saturdays.
We have an immediate opening on 2nd shift . Bi-lingual applicants are preferred. If you are tired of sitting on the sidelines and want to make a difference or want to make a change and grow professionally, this might be the place for you.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts, and assemblies, etc., for conformance to company standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Checks randomly selected samples, and verifies compliance to standards
- Reports conditions requiring immediate correction
- Uses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs
- Keeps records and makes reports indicating results of inspections
- Determines disposition of finished product by judging product acceptability in comparison to specifications
- Determines acceptability of rework by conducting inspections and physical tests of reworked product
- May inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions
OTHER DUTIES
- May relieve machine operators
- Performs all other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE AND / OR TRAINING
- High school diploma required
- 1-3 years experience preferred
