LOCATION : Fairfax, VA (REMOTE)

PAY RATE : $36.00 - $52.00 per hour

This is a non-managerial, non-leadership role.

Summary :

Responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of programs and overseeing various contracts related to aircraft development.

This position is virtual and requires regular, predictable attendance.

Manage overall supply chain operations for assigned programs.

Act as a liaison between the programs and the Supply Chain Management organization.

Handle contracts across a variety of subsystems as part of aircraft development.

Required Skills :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Subcontract Administrator / Buyer.

Overall 5-7 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management.

Must be a U.S. Person.

Desired Skills :

Knowledge of compliance acquisition procedures and FAR / DFAR requirements.

Understanding of supply chain and subcontract management principles, concepts, and practices.

Experience in developing RFPs, complex statements of work, evaluation criteria, and source selection criteria.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, Engineering, IPT Leads, Program Management, and Customers.

Experience in both development and production programs within the aerospace industry.

International subcontract experience with a working knowledge of import / export compliance and ITAR regulations.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to work in an office environment.

Fine manipulation skills, such as typing.

Ability to work at a desk for 8 hours daily.

Ability to lift typical office equipment, such as laptops and files.
