Our client is in search of a Technical Sales Representative to drive business growth in the territory of TX, OK, AR, and LA.
The focus will be on promoting and selling products in the fields of microwave-assisted synthesis, digestion, FTIR, and Raman spectroscopy.
While the ideal location for this role is Houston, TX, applicants from other major cities within the territory will also be considered.
The salary for this position ranges from $81,000 to $91,700 per year. Additionally, the commission plan is uncapped and offers monthly payouts from the start, with bonuses for exceeding targets.
Our client also provides full benefits, contributes to your 401k through profit sharing, and awards a $10,000 anniversary bonus every five years.
There is even a sign-on bonus opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Identify and cultivate new accounts, while effectively managing existing ones.
- Present product information to individuals at all levels, including C-suite executives, production and lab managers, and technicians.
- Qualify potential opportunities, create and deliver proposals, and close deals.
- Travel will be required (up to 50-60%, including overnight stays) for meetings, product demonstrations, and installations.
Requirements :
- Prior experience in technical sales is preferred, particularly in the field of analytical instruments.
- Strong communication skills and business acumen.
- Ability to work independently and a strong commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
- A bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering field is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and passport.
