Insight Chicago Nurse Practitioner
Job Summary :
Insight's proactive, patient centric and empathetic Nurse Practitioner will join our growing team of medical professionals to support our organization in providing patient care second to none! Our Nurse Practitioner role directly supports the family practice physician at facilities located in Chicago, Illinois as a full-time Nurse Practitioner.
Duties :
Interview and examine patients to determine a diagnosis.
Performing physical exams and patient observations.
Consulting with healthcare professionals and families.
Order tests to ascertain the nature and extent of illnesses and injuries.
Administer and analyze diagnostic tests.
Monitoring and operating medical equipment.
Diagnosing health issues
Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms.
Maintain patient records and provide documentation for insurance companies.
Detects changes in patients' health
Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.
Qualifications :
Demonstrates eligibility to work for any employer in the .
Doctorate degree from an accredited nursing program.
Previous experience within field or related work environment is preferred
RN licensure in the state where employed or a compact party state and board-certified by either ANCC or AANP.
APN authorization in the state where employed to practice in family health by the Board of Nurse Examiners.
Prescriptive authorization.
Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work.
Knowledge of computer-based data management programs and information systems, as well as medical records and point-of-interview technology.
A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Able to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment while maintaining positive energy.
Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for professional advancement.
Able to work compassionately with patients and coworkers to exhibit patient care second to none
