1.Design, build and execute the Data and Analytics platform strategy for in-scope Realtime data processing platforms and event hub frameworks to support the organization's data needs.
2.Responsible for development and maintenance of the Realtime data platforms and tools, for safe and deliberate consumption throughout the organization.
3.Provide Realtime data platform subject matter expertise to business units and delivery teams.
4.Accountable for managing multiple platform teams comprising of globally distributed full time platform engineers, platform leads and contract resources for building and maintaining real-time platforms and event hub solutions.
5.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align technical solutions with organizational goals.
6.Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance data processing capabilities and optimize system performance.
7.Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in the design and deployment of real-time data processing systems.
8.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to meet service level agreements and operational requirements.
9.Define best practices and standards for data access and consumption, including data modeling, data governance, and data security principles.
10.Oversee the implementation of data integration solutions to facilitate data consumption and analysis.
11.Manage performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization of data access layers and consumption frameworks to ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
12.Drive innovation in data access technologies and practices, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data management and access while bringing those new practices to Truist.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications :

1. Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, Information Systems or equivalent degree
2. At least 10 years of senior level experience in leading teams
3. Deep experience in driving enterprise data strategy, data execution, data operations, data engineering or software delivery
4. Expert problem solving skills and being able to define detailed strategies as required
5. Experience in financial services industry
6. Experience in meeting regulatory obligations and operating in a highly regulatory environment
7. Experience in building a high performing team
Preferred Qualifications :
1.Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent degree
2.8 years’ experience in a DevOps or similar role.
3.Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
4.Proficiency with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
5.Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
6.Strong knowledge of CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
7.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
8.Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk etc.
9.Solid understanding of Networking, Security, Database and Data warehouse in a cloud environment.
10.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
11.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience within Enterprise Data organizations preferably within a financial institution
Talend Data Integration certification.
12.Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies (Kafka, Kinesis).
13.Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning integration.
