About the job
We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to join our team for a 3-month contract position in Chicago, IL. As a crucial part of our diagnostic radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of X-ray procedures, both portable and in the department, ensuring the highest quality of diagnostic services while prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
This is a full-time, onsite position with an 8-hour shift schedule (22 : 30-07 : 00), Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

- Competitive pay with an all-inclusive rate of $51.12 / hr (including a taxable component of $25.12 / hr and a per diem of $26 / hr).
- For local candidates (within 50 miles), the rate is $40.90 / hr.
- Additional non-local reward : $5.11 / hr for those living further than 50 miles away.

What youll be doing :
- Perform all X-ray procedures, both portable and within the X-ray department, as required.
- Ensure the quality of diagnostic services and prioritize patient well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Follow the "two-step" identification process for all patients, ensuring any required preparations have been completed.
- Explain procedures to patients, provide necessary instructions, and position them appropriately for optimal imaging results.
- Review all radiographs for correct positioning, exposure, and patient identification before releasing them.
Requirements :
- 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
- Ability to work the assigned overnight shift (22 : 30-07 : 00).
- Two professional references.
