Industrial Electrician - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 48.95 / hour - Draperville, OR

They are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their team. The Industrial Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that electrical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities :
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical components, including wiring, controls, and circuit boards, to prevent equipment failures.
- Install and configure new electrical equipment and systems as needed for upgrades or replacements.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions in machinery, including motor drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and other automation systems.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and facility protocols.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Respond to emergency repair requests and minimize downtime to keep production running smoothly.
- Conduct electrical safety training and promote best practices among other staff members to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep up to date with the latest advancements in electrical technology and maintenance practices to improve efficiency and performance.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma
- Oregon Electrician’s License
- 3+ years of experience with electrical troubleshooting and AC&DC motor control
- Ability to use standard test and troubleshooting equipment
- Industrial mechanical millwright experience preferred
- PLC experience is preferred
Compensation :
- Base salary in the 35.33 / hour to 48.95 / hour range
