TITLE : Quality Assurance Technician
REPORTING STRUCTURE : Director of Quality
PAY : TBD as proportionate to level of experience of the ideal candidate

Position Overview : We are looking to hire a Quality Assurance Technician as an entry level position to join our QA staff.
This person would work within a team of four people under the Director of Quality.
Responsibilities would include :
- Assessing incoming raw materials and paperwork to be released for production
- Laboratory testing finished good (salt, pH, sieve, color and other)
- Input data in computer.
- Sanitation inspections of equipment (climb stairs)
- Manage quality documentation. records, review completed forms.
- Equipment : Maintains laboratory testing equipment and calibration records. Assures that equipment is in working order
- Metal detector checks and weight checks in production (Walk, lift wrights 20+ pounds)
Qualifications :
5 years experience in industrial food QC
