Summary
Performs all assigned duties under direct / indirect supervision. Responsible for inventorying and restocking areas in the facility with linen.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Reads, writes, speaks and understands English. Previous hospital experience related to high productivity and manual dexterity preferred but not mandatory.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate instructions when necessary. Motor coordination and manual dexterity are required in order to coordinate the receiving and issuing of patient linen.
Some computer knowledge & skills are preferable.Must be able to see and hear. Manual dexterity required when reaching, handling, adjusting and lifting boxes of linens that may weigh as much as 50 pounds and that may be in the bottom of a bin.
Pushing / pulling carts with loaded weight as much as 700 pounds, and long periods of standing & walking are required to perform daily activities.
