Position Overview

Evolve is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal - Alcohol and Beverage Licensing to support a leading law firm’s alcohol and beverage licensing practice in Miami, Florida .

This position involves working closely with clients throughout the licensing process, ensuring compliance with various regulatory requirements, and providing valuable support to attorneys in handling licensing applications and related matters.

Key Responsibilities

As an Alcohol and Beverage Licensing Paralegal , you will :

  • Assist clients through the various stages of completing license and permit applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze and interpret client needs, providing guidance based on a thorough review of their applications and supporting documentation.
  • Explain licensing requirements and regulations to clients, identifying compliance needs and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Evaluate licenses or permits and assist in proposing operational frameworks and strategies for clients.
  • Maintain and update files and licensing information for various licenses and permits, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.
  • Review applications and supporting documents, such as financial records, to ensure regulatory compliance and prepare files for presentation to relevant authorities.
  • Provide timely communication and high-quality service to clients, attorneys, and staff, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed to support the practice group and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal Alcohol and Beverage Licensing Paralegal candidate will have : One to two years of law firm experience , preferably in alcohol and beverage licensing or regulatory work.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations related to alcohol and beverage licensing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain licensing requirements to clients.
  • Proficiency in timekeeping for billable and non-billable work.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
