Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) looking to make a positive impact? We have a full-time position available starting September 2024 in Aberdeen, MD.
Join our team and support a diverse caseload spanning from PreK / Elementary to Middle and High school students.
Position : Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location : Aberdeen, MD
Details :
- Role : Full-time, 35 hours / week
- Schedule : 5 days per week
- Work Hours : 8 : 15 AM - 3 : 45 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Caseload : K-12 students
- Pay Rate : $40-$47 per hour
- New Graduates : New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Dates : September 3, 2024 - June 13, 2025
Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions to enhance students' functional abilities
- Partner with teachers, parents, and fellow therapists to ensure holistic student development
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting processes
Requirements :
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Maryland
- Experience or readiness to work effectively with diverse student populations
- Ability to travel for in-home visits and school consultations
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication abilities
- Dedication to fostering students' occupational performance and independence
