ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Community Development Department in both our Williston, VT and White River Junction, VT offices.

The Civil Engineer will work as a member of a team on projects including land development; urban infill and redevelopment, municipal projects, renewable energy, educational facilities, permitting, and more.

Under the general direction of Senior Engineers and Project Managers, this professional will support all aspects of site / civil engineering projects including performing detailed site design (e.

g., layout, grading, utilities, erosion & sediment controls, etc.), assisting in the preparation of site plans and details;

designing stormwater management systems; conducting field work; and assisting in report and permit writing activities.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred; will consider Associate degree in Engineering Technology
• Typically requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas : site planning and design, stormwater modeling and design;

and infrastructure design

• Experience with construction is a plus
• EIT or PE licensure preferred; EIT registration must be obtained within one year of employment
• Experience in AutoCAD & Civil 3D is required; GIS experience a plus

This position may report to Fuss & O'Neill's White River Junction, VT or Williston, VT office, but your location is up to you! Fuss & O'Neill encourages a hybrid workplace, which means that your desk could be at home and in the office.
