About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Operating Room, Scrub Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 4 to 10-hour days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years License : Not specified Certifications : - BLS certification required (must be from American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross)- NBSTSA or equivalent preferred but not required Must-Have : Ortho, ENT, and / or vascular experience is a plus- Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment- Successful completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment Job Description : Enforce a 75-mile straight line radius rule for travelers- Only candidates aware of their submission can be considered- Time off requests must be disclosed with the initial submission- Requirement of two references, including one from the current manager- Shift start times at 0645 or 0900, with shift lengths of 4 - 10-hour shifts- On-call requirements include weekday and weekend calls - Weekend and holiday shift requirements as needed- Shifts may fluctuate to meet department staffing needs- Travelers may float within the facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles- Orientation in the first week with no more than 40 total hours and includes EPIC training- Scrubs are required but not provided by the facility- Candidates must not have been employed by the system in the past 12 months from the last day worked- Accuracy in providing SS# and DOB is crucial to avoid onboarding issues
