What's a typical day as a Medical Records Clerk? You'll be :

• Safeguarding records and ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Processing discharge charts per the facility's policies and procedures.
• Organizing and maintaining medical records for easy retrieval.
• Filing paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
• Transferring or recording data into the facility's electronic system.
• Gathering records and responding to requests for medical records as assigned.
• Assisting with invoicing.
• Performing other clerical duties as assigned.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you :

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Are highly organized.
• Have knowledge of filing, data entry, light typing, and computer skills.
