Job Title : Human Resource Manager
Location : Salem, Oregon

The successful candidate will be a dynamic Human Resource Manager to oversee HR functions in Salem, Oregon. This role will involve serving as the Chair for Union management, overseeing risk management, and leading our HR team.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of government or military experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding our organizational values within a diverse, non-profit setting.
Key Responsibilities :
Union Management : Act as the Chair for Union management, navigating union-related matters with professionalism and a collaborative approach.
Risk Management : Oversee and manage risk-related activities, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures to mitigate potential issues.
HR Leadership : Lead and develop the human resources team, setting clear objectives and providing guidance to drive effective HR practices.
Human Resource Functions : Manage all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training.
Key Requirements :
Government or Military Experience : Required for understanding the regulatory and procedural nuances associated with our operations.
Leadership Experience : A minimum of 4 years in a leadership role, demonstrating a proven track record of managing and developing direct reports.
Education : Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience with Direct Reports : Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of HR professionals.
Preferred Skills and Attributes :
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with a diverse workforce.
Ability to navigate and manage union relationships with a balanced and fair approach.
Proficiency in risk management practices and procedures.
