Job Type : Contract, Full-time
Job Description : We are currently seeking a School-Based Psychologist to join our team for the 2024 / 2025 school year in San Tan Valley, AZ.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive psychological services to students, staff, and families to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success within the school community.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families
- Provide counseling and intervention services to address student social-emotional and behavioral needs
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student learning and development
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide input on student progress and interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, progress notes, and interventions
Qualifications :
- Master s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid Arizona Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Arizona
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in a school-based setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Proficiency in administering and interpreting psychological assessments Benefits :
