As a Medical Scribe, you will work closely with healthcare providers, including physicians, physician assistants (PAs), and nurse practitioners (NPs), documenting patient visits directly into the electronic medical record system in real time.
Key Responsibilities :
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently under the direct supervision of healthcare providers
- Gain hands-on clinical experience in outpatient clinics and Emergency Departments
- Collaborate with mentors and receive ongoing continuing education to enhance your skills
Requirements :
- College degree or current enrollment in a 2-4 year program
- Minimum commitment of 2-4 shifts per week
- Strong multitasking abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Responsible and mature with a genuine passion for healthcare and learning
- Strong organizational skills
- Minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute
- Comfortable working with computers
