Summary

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer with Python knowledge. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, robust, and high-performance solutions to build upon our applications.

As an engineer, you are a highly experienced and skilled professional, that often serves as a key technical lead. You play a critical role in guiding and influencing engineering decisions, solving complex technical challenges, setting standards for best practices, contributing to the development of overarching strategies, assuming leadership roles, and providing mentorship to other engineers.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience building Software Applications.
• 5+ years of experience working with Python.

Skills

• Python.
• Flask and / or Django.
• Agile methodologies.
• RESTful web services.
• Software design skills.
• Libraries experience like Poetry.
• Experience with Cloud services like AWS, including deploying applications on the cloud.
• Experience with DevOps methodology and tools, ideally with Terraform, and Step Functions.
• CI / CD tools (GitHub actions, Jenkins).

Soft Skills

• Leadership and mentoring skills.

• Great communication skills.
• Clean and maintainable code following best practices.
• Decision making.
• Strong technical support skills.
• High in autonomy and proactiveness.

Nice to have

Prior experience as a Project or technical lead.
