If so, Hastings Country Inn is looking for a Full time Front Desk Supervisor to be part of our team.
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front desk.Emphasis on leadership and excellent customer satisfaction.
Revenue management through rate.Sales via in person, on the phone, and over the internet.Act as Manager on Duty when assigned or General Manager is absent.
Fills in when needed, including weekends, holidays, evenings and overnights.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately manages rates for rooms and events
- Motivates and leads front desk staff to ensure a safe, secure and positive environment.Encourages teamwork
- Supervises and manages employees.Managing day to day operations of the Front Desk.Understanding employees positions well enough to perform duties in employees’ absence.
- Supervises and assists the front desk staff in the consistent front desk duties such as : specific steps of reservation taking and management;
customer service and proper procedures for collection of money to ensure that the maximum possible revenue and occupancy is achieved on a consistent basis.
- Supervises and assists the front desk staff in rendering high quality service.
- Promotes Boardroom, Ballroom, Room Blocks, Events and other packages, Tracks revenue for those areas.
Qualifications :
- 2 years Minimum Hotel Front Desk Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Preferred : 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Pay Rate : $17-$20 Based on Qualifications
Compensation : $17 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities :
- Generate occupancy reports and compile financial information for the general manager
- Make sure to adhere to the front desk budget and put in orders for office supplies as needed
- Supervise current front desk staff and hire and train new staff to make sure they’re providing excellent customer service and implementing hotel policies
- Lead operations at the front desk and make sure guests have an exceptional stay
- Communicate with hotel guests face-to-face and over the phone, ensure all their questions are answered satisfactorily, and handle any complaints
Qualifications :
- Possess excellent management skills, communication skills, and multitasking skills
- Hospitality experience of at least 1 year is required for this role
- 2 or more years of experience as a front desk supervisor or related office management position in the hospitality industry
- Experience with MS office and bookkeeping skills desired
- Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED
