Construction Estimator - Manhattan, NY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team and provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects.

This role is critical to the success of our projects, ensuring we deliver quality construction solutions while maintaining profitability.

The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating for commercial interiors, retail, office spaces, or mixed-use developments.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Analyze architectural plans, specifications, and project scopes to develop accurate and competitive bids.
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate pricing and bids.
• Evaluate bid opportunities and manage the bid submission process.
• Conduct regular cost analysis to ensure profitability and efficiency.
• Assist in value engineering to optimize project budgets while maintaining quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, material costs, and market conditions.

Profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator , preferably in the commercial construction sector.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation processes.
• Experience with construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in NYC is a plus.
