Project Details : Working on a Scrum Team in the Digital Banking group on a software integration solution.
Must Have Skills :
- Experience being hands-on within a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) model.
- Running Linux-based Docker containers.
- Operations / Systems background with some development experience.
- Experience working in a Windows environment.
- Experience working with AWS or GCP Cloud technologies (GCP is preferred).
- Experience working with Kubernetes & Terraform.
- Experience with GitOps & / or Flux.
- Understanding of the full SDLC & great communication.
Nice to Have Skills :
- Python experience.
- SQL Server experience.
- Experience with a cloud migration.
Additional Details : Most of the team lives in Omaha, Denver, and ATL, but this contract is fully remote. Team is comprised of 10 people currently.
Day to Day Responsibilities :
- Working in the Banking SW Engineering group on a scrum team.
- Moving a data center to AWS Cloud and deploying Kubernetes.
- Running Docker containers and developing Spring Boot microservices to help with the Cloud migration.
- Working on Linux-based Docker containers and a partial Windows environment.
- Building pipelines and integrating data.
