Inventory Specialist
About the job
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support a high-volume, small-part inventory program on-site with contractors.
This role involves overseeing inventory processes for equipment and materials used in the installation of WIFI and fiber optic cables, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
You will work outdoors on a contractor site, not a traditional warehouse, where you will label, track, and organize inventory items such as splitters, construction materials, and vaults.

What youll be doing :
- Verifying stock information and unit identification numbers
- Auditing equipment and parts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Unpackaging, sorting, and staging units for production
- Receiving units using RF handheld devices
- Conducting cycle counts and inventory audits per company policy
- Organizing and labeling inventory in designated contractor sites
- Collaborating with supervisors for additional assigned duties
Requirements :
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors for long periods
- Flexibility in schedule
- Basic computer skills (Excel experience is a plus)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
