Responsibilities :

Your Responsibilities :

Instructional Excellence : Prepare engaging lesson plans, effectively utilize learning management systems, and objectively assess student performance.

Student Interaction : Create a nurturing classroom environment, provide feedback, support student development, and maintain accurate records.

Continuous Improvement : Stay informed about the latest instructional methodologies, attend workshops, and actively engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications :

Your Qualifications :

Must hold an active and unencumbered VN or RN license to practice nursing in the state of employment

o Must have an active RN license to teach all courses

o Must have an active VN license to teach clinical term 1 classes only.

• Minimum of 3 years of practical nursing experience
• Minimum of an Associates degree in nursing is required; Bachelors strongly preferred.

o Bachelors degree in nursing is required to teach all theory and clinical courses.

o Associates degree can teach clinical term 1 courses only.

Must be actively employed in nursing 2 of the last 3 years.

o If candidate has not been actively employed in nursing in the past 3 years, then advanced preparation in nursing, nursing education, nursing administration and prior relevant nursing employment may be taken into consideration in evaluating the qualifications for the position.

• Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
• Must meet approval of Board of Nursing.
• Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.
