South Shore Transportation is seeking experienced diesel mechanics for both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities in Sandusky, Ohio.

We offer diesel mechanics in Sandusky :
Hourly wage based on experience - $17-$25 / hour

Responsibilities Include :
Lubing and greasing
Changing coolant, oil and filter
Repairing and replacing lights
General inspection of equipment
Change fittings
Inspecting and replacing bearings
Repairing electrical problems, air leaks and ABS systems
Installation and diagnostic of ELD device
May do some diagnostic work
Additional Responsibilities (based on having a CDL License) :
Test drive equipment
Taking trucks / trailers to repair shop as needed
Requirements :
1 year Diesel engine repair preferred - but entry level positions are also available
Valid driver’s license required
Must own basic tools.
