Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a metro Detroit-based distributor, who is actively looking for a Customer Sales Support Representative to join their Customer Service team.
The ideal candidate will have experience providing a high-level of service, will be detail oriented, have experience in processing sales orders, be team-oriented, and more.

Customer Sales Support Responsibilities :
Build and maintain quality relations with assigned customers. Manage communications and serve as main point of contact for day-to-day issueswith your assigned customers.
Respond to inquiries and complaints.
- Receive and verify customer releases / requirements coming in via fax, email, web portal or EDI and schedule shipmentsto fulfill those requirements.
- Maintain updated, organized files on all assigned customers.
- Maintain inventory to meet customer demand, analyze changes.
- Enter customer sales orders, vendor purchase orders, price changes, customer quotations, etc. into our ERP system.
- Coordinate with / assist other departments (Accounting, Quality, Shipping & Receiving, Sales) daily to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Customer Sales Support Qualifications :
- 3+ years of general office experience required (Automotive experience, specifically experience with automotive releases, supply chain and scheduling are greatly preferred).
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, vendors and other parties via phone, email, web conference or in person meeting.
- Must have team player attitude and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer skills are required (proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience with the ERP systems is required.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain an 8 : 30am 5 : 00pm schedule Monday Friday. Full time 8-hour daytime shift. Fully onsite.
