Tenet3® is seeking a Senior Software Engineer that is familiar with game development concepts to join our team in Ohio. As a Software Engineer, you will join a team responsible for building a visually-exciting, high-performing, intuitive web application that pushes the boundaries of what web browsers to enable users to solve challenging security problems.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop core features using Pixi.JS and WebGL for hardware-accelerated, real-time interactivity.
- Work with real-time rendering paradigms including Sprites. RenderTextures, and an Entity Component System (ECS) to maintain user responsiveness at or above 30 FPS
- Develop, test, enhance, debug, and implement software
- Collaborate with the design and project teams on product specifications
- Participate in peer reviews of code written by other developers
- Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages
- Assist in preparing estimates for implementing new system enhancements
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Pixi.JS, or other game engines such as Unity, Godot or Bevy
- Exposure to real-time technologies such as WebGL, Shaders, Sprite-batching, etc
- Experience developing WebAssembly (WASM) libraries
- 5 + years of Production Software Engineering Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or a similar discipline
- Ability to take ownership of features and stories and drive them through from discovery to release
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
- Experience interacting with APIs (REST, SOAP or GraphQL)
- Experience with AWS is preferred
- Eligibility to establish and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance

Hybrid work location possible. Located within 4 hour driving distance of Dayton, Ohio. Paid relocation available to the Dayton region.
