Plasma Material Handling Operator (2nd shift)

• Able to lift 25 to 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures of -30C or colder
• Ability to follow written procedures
• Ability to use barcode readers
• Capable of performing basic computer skills
• Responsible for department housekeeping
• Ability to receive and separate incoming plasma
• Ability to identify and separate Special plasma
• Ability to pull freezer work orders and alerts
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment when servicing Classification
• Able to identify rejected plasma
• Ability to stage freezer work orders and alerts
• Able to work with minimum supervision and follow detailed directions
• Ability to pull freezer work orders and stage alerts
• Able to perform weekly cycle counts
• Ability to load production runs and sales
• Ability to prepare plasma for distribution by Air, Land, and Sea
• Ability to receive customer samples and create sample reception form
• Ability to receive Ocean container
• Ability to prepare and complete Plasma Lot documentation
• Ability to use forklift to store plasma in freezer using automated system

EXPERIENCE - Material Handling Associate Operator : Typically requires no previous related experience.

• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Possess basic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• To be able to multi task in warehouse environment.
• Possess good organization skills

EXPERIENCE - Material Handling Operator :

• Knowledge of cGMP
• Warehouse experience and lift truck certified
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills

EQUIVALENCY :

Depending on the area of assignment, directly-related experience or a combination of directly-related education and experience and / or competencies may be considered in place of the stated requirements.

Example : If a job level typically requires an Associate’s degree plus 2 years of experience, an equivalent could include 4 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree.
