Position : School Based Student and Family Case Manager
Position Purpose : Build effective partnerships based on the needs of ABCToday Schools, students and families to support the Attendance, Behavior, and Course performance of students assigned.
Coordinates and collaborates with agency staff and partner schools to ensure consistency with BBBSEMO strategy, commitments, and goals.
Outcomes / Goals
Support Youth :
- Identify and recruit youth and families from assigned schools in partnership with school staff.
- Conduct enrollment process with youth and families.
- Consistently hold a caseload that consists of a minimum of 35-50 students and families.
- Establish goals with youth (in partnership with families, school staff and ABCToday data), document next steps and coordinate follow up.
- Document challenges and successes for youth in meeting established goals.
- Organize resources and supports for youth and families, both internal and external of the school setting.
Partner with Schools and ABCToday Network :
- Attend and participate in activities and events at the school centered around youth and family engagement.
- Partner with school staff to understand plans put in place by school for youth and be an active participant in meetings about those plans.
- Collaborate with ABCToday and school staff to promote positive school climate and culture efforts at assigned schools.
- Participate in ABCToday Network meetings and school wide planned activities.

EDUCATION & RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree; Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar field; or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar field required
- Experience working with Parents / Caregivers and Youth
- Experience interviewing, writing assessments and conducting home visits preferred
- Experience working with a diverse population
- Knowledge of K-12 school and resource landscape

Work Environment / Physical Requirements
- Technology / computer skills needed. Proficient in the following platforms : MS Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, & Teams); Outlook, & Zoom.
- Flexible work hours to meet the needs of schools, team members and community leaders / organizations including nights and weekends.
- Must have car, valid driver's license, and meet state required automobile insurance minimums.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Salary will be based upon professional and academic experience (salary range - $44,000-$46,000)
- 401(k)-3% match per year following first year of employment.
- 625 cents reimbursement on business miles and 100% of out-of-office parking for business meetings, etc.
- Immediate and 100% coverage on health and dental insurance.
- Life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance following the first ninety days of employment.
- After 90 days staff will receive 5 days of paid vacation and 10 days of paid vacation after one year of service.
- Accrue 1 day per month of sick leave (can also be used for family illnesses)-can carry up to 30 days of sick leave.
- 2 personal days per year following the first 90 days of employment.
- Annual raises based on performance, culture, and agency's ability.
- 11 paid holidays.
