Customer Service Representative
Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital is hiring a full-time front-desk customer service representative to be the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, playing a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit.

Salary : Starting at $15 / hr based on experience and skill set
Schedule : Full Time 40hrs / week : Mon-Fri, 8 am 6 pm, Alternating Saturdays 7 : 30 am -12 : 30 pm
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details.
- Answer client questions and triage client concerns.
- Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit / debit cards, and schedule future appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow.
- Answer client calls and / or emails for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests.
- Make outbound calls and / or emails for appointment reminders and follow-ups.
- Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the hospital to ensure a great client experience.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferred
- Comfortable with dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be detail oriented with ability to think clearly and multitask in a fast-
- paced environment
- Have a strong client education and communication skills
- Must have a can-do attitude and be a team player
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional and positive demeanor
- Dependability, punctuality and flexibility are a must
About Dogwood Trails Animal Hospital
Dogwood Trails is a brand-new state-of-the-art small animal hospital located in Bentonville, Arkansas. Opening in October 2024, the hospital will offer a variety of services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients through all stages of life including preventative care, soft tissue surgeries, dentals, in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, and digital full body and dental radiographs.
