Our client, a rapidly expanding manufacturing business located just outside of Maidstone, is currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge electronic systems in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and test electronic circuits and systems for a range of products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead electronics projects from concept through to production, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software developers, and product managers.
  • Perform detailed PCB layout and schematic design using industry-standard CAD tools.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of AC and DC electronic systems, identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of electronic components and suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in electronics technology and contribute innovative ideas to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and developing electronic circuits and systems, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.
  • Strong proficiency in PCB layout and schematic design using industry-standard CAD tools such as Altium Designer or Eagle.
  • Solid understanding of AC and DC electronic systems, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex circuits.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with embedded systems design and firmware development would be advantageous.
