LM Hurley and Associates has been retained by Hollenbeck Palms to identify a new Chief Operation Officer.
Hollenbeck Palms, a renowned nonprofit CCRC serving the Greater Los Angeles area for over 130 years, seeks a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead their operations.
This role is being filled as part of a CEO succession plan.
Licensure : RCFE and / or Skilled Nursing Home Administrator License is a MUST

Job Summary
The COO will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health, operational efficiency, and high-quality resident care at Hollenbeck Palms.
Key responsibilities include :
- Strategic Planning : Developing and implementing long-term strategies aligned with the organization's mission.
- Financial Management : Overseeing budgeting, financial reporting, and revenue generation.
- Team Leadership : Leading and motivating a talented team to deliver exceptional results.
- Quality Assurance : Ensuring the highest resident care standards and regulatory compliance.
- Community Engagement : Building strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
- Opportunity to Advance : The COO has the opportunity to succeed the CEO upon their retirement.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership roles within a combination of CCRC, SNF, assisted living, memory care, and / or senior housing communities.
Experience in a not-for-profit environment is a plus.
Education : BA required. Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent preferred; or four to ten years related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Skills : Strong leadership, financial acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Compensation and Benefits
- Our client offers a competitive salary, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, bonus, PTO, and more.
- Base salary starts at $170,000 and could go higher commensurate with experience.
