Job Description :
The Video Content Creator Intern will assist the Career Center with storytelling through video content. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and editing engaging video content that resonates with our student audience across social media channels.
This position will work with and directly report to the Career Center Communications and Media Manager. Develop creative and compelling video content ideas that align with Career Center programs and services.
Plan, script, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for social media channels. Assist with maintaining a consistent identity for the Career Center by following the department and university's brand guidelines.
Develop video library for digital content. Assist with scheduling content to be published on social media at ideal times.
Assist with monitoring social media channels and activities. Assist with managing the Career Center social media content calendar.
Ability to comply with university policies. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Other duties as assigned. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar programs.
Strong storytelling skills with the ability to translate ideas into engaging video content. Good understanding of social media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube
- Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility
- Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to marketing and communications
- Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly
- Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
