NOW HIRING : Infection Preventionist
Infection Preventionist responsibilities Include :
Develop, implement, and oversee the facility’s infection prevention and control program.
Monitor infection control practices and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to best practices.
Educate and train staff on infection prevention protocols, hygiene, and safety standards.
Track, analyze, and report infection rates, outbreaks, and trends.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement infection control policies and procedures.
Act as a resource and provide guidance on infection prevention practices to all departments.
Infection Preventionist Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in nursing, microbiology, public health, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Current RN / LPN license in the state of New Jersey preferred.
Certification in infection control (CIC) strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in infection prevention and control, preferably in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of infection prevention principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
