Position : Medical Biller

On Site in Davie, FL

Pay Rate : $19-$21 Hourly Based On Experience

6 Month Contract to Hire (This will Convert!!)

Must Have Qualifications :

• 3+ Years of Medical Billing / Claims processing, medical accounts receivable or medical billing experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Strong experience understanding healthcare billing, payer policies, and resolving claims issues

Day to Day :

Job Responsibilities :

1. Identify and investigate claim denials and rejections. Develop and implement strategies to resolve issues and reduce the rate of denials.

Prepare and submit appeals as necessary.

2. Analyze trends and patterns in claims data to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Generate reports to support decision-making and optimize the revenue cycle process.

3. Work closely with billing, coding, and patient financial services teams to address and resolve claims-related issues. Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and payers.

4. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, payer policies, and company procedures. Stay updated on changes in regulations and payer requirements.

5. Maintain accurate records of claims processing, including detailed notes on issues, resolutions, and follow-ups. Prepare and submit reports as required.

6. Maintain detailed records of collection activities, payment arrangements, and correspondence in accordance with company policies and procedures.

7. Monitor and manage assigned accounts, ensuring that all payments and adjustments are accurately recorded and applied.

8. Follow up on outstanding patient accounts and insurance claims through phone calls, emails, and written correspondence.
